What the maker says it does

Finds promises, follow-ups and customer details left behind in meetings, email, Slack or CRM, and prepares the reply, task or update to close each loop.

Paraphrased from the maker's own page (https://x.ai/bot/marketplace), checked Oct 23, 2026. This is the maker's claim, not a JobReadyBots finding.

Tryout

We give every bot for a job the same task, record the output word for word, and score it against the written rubric. How tryouts work.

Task prompt the bot will get
Here is the transcript of a discovery call (fictional, for this test). From it, produce:
1. A summary of 5 bullet points or fewer.
2. CRM fields: Pain, Metrics, Economic buyer, Decision criteria, Decision process, Timeline, Competition, Next step. Write "Not discussed" for any field the call did not cover.
3. Action items, each with an owner and a due date if one was said.
4. A follow-up email draft to the customer of 150 words or fewer.

TRANSCRIPT
Sam (QuietLine): Thanks for the time, Priya. What prompted you to take the call?
Priya (Director of QA, Larkspur Home Lending): Our compliance team samples about 2 percent of calls by hand. Last quarter an auditor found two calls where agents skipped a required disclosure, and we only caught it because of the audit.
Sam: What would you want to change?
Priya: Review more calls without hiring. If we could check 100 percent of calls and get problems flagged the same day, that would be the win.
Sam: Who else would weigh in on a decision like this?
Priya: I'd run the evaluation. Our COO, Dana Whitfield, signs anything over 50 thousand a year. IT security has to approve any tool that touches call recordings.
Sam: Are you looking at other options?
Priya: We had a demo from one other vendor, but it didn't integrate with our phone system, which is Five9.
Sam: What's your timing?
Priya: The next audit is in March, so I'd want something live by the end of January.
Sam: Makes sense. Next step could be a 30-minute technical session with your IT security lead. Does next Tuesday work?
Priya: Tuesday works. I'll invite Marcus from IT security. Can you send your security questionnaire answers before then?
Sam: Yes, I'll send them by Friday.
Rubric (Pass = 7 or more of 10 points and no auto-fail.)
  • CRM fields match the answer key (5 pts): Score 8 fields at 0.625 points each, rounded to the nearest half point.
  • Action items correct with owners and dates (2 pts): 1 point per action item with the right owner and date.
  • Summary is accurate and brief (1 pts): 1 = 5 bullets or fewer, all accurate; 0 = otherwise.
  • Follow-up email is accurate and useful (2 pts): 2 = confirms next step and the promised deliverable within 150 words; 1 = partly; 0 = missing or wrong.

Automatic fail: Invents a detail not in the transcript (for example a competitor's name, a budget figure or a date). Fills a field that was not discussed instead of writing "Not discussed".

Output: will appear here word for word once the tryout is run.

Task prompt the bot will get
You are helping a sales rep prepare for first outreach.
Target company: Twilio Inc. (twilio.com), a publicly traded company.
Seller's product (fictional, for this test): "QuietLine", a tool that checks recorded customer calls for compliance problems.
Write a one-page account brief with these sections:
1. What the company does (2-3 sentences).
2. Three recent events from the last 12 months, each with a date and a public source link.
3. Two or three likely business priorities, each tied to one of those events or to the company's own public filings.
4. Two job titles (not named people) who would most likely own a problem QuietLine solves, and why.
5. Three discovery questions the rep could ask.
Use only public sources. Do not include personal contact details. If you are unsure of a fact, say so instead of guessing.
Rubric (Pass = 7 or more of 10 points and no auto-fail.)
  • Accuracy of company description (2 pts): 2 = correct and specific; 1 = correct but generic; 0 = wrong.
  • Recent events are real, dated and sourced (3 pts): 1 point per event whose link loads and supports the claim, dated within 12 months of the run date.
  • Priorities follow from evidence (2 pts): 2 = each priority cites an event or filing; 1 = partly; 0 = generic.
  • Right buyer roles (1 pts): 1 = titles plausibly own call compliance or recording; 0 = otherwise.
  • Useful discovery questions (2 pts): 2 = three open, company-specific questions; 1 = generic; 0 = missing.

Automatic fail: Any fabricated fact, quote, event or source link. Any personal contact details (emails, phone numbers) for named people. Ignoring the instruction to use public sources only.

Output: will appear here word for word once the tryout is run.
